I rather watch National Georgraphic than ´women programs´. (I prefer watching NG)

My try:

National Geographic´i izlemek kadın programlarını seyretmekten tercih ediyorum.

PS: Is there any difference between ´izlemek´ and ´seyretmek´? Can you please them in a sentence? Thank you!

PPS: İyi bayramlaaar!

Nice try  you are very close to right one

National Geographic´i izlemeyi kadın programlarını seyretmeye tercih ediyorum/ederim.

National Geographic´i seyretmeyi kadın programlarını seyretmeye tercih ediyorum/ederim.

or National Geographic´i izlemeyi kadın programlarına tercih ediyorum/ederim.

izlemek: to follow (first meaning is this, but its not wrong to use it)

seyretmek: to watch, see, look at (so you should preffer to use this word then izlemek)

Merhaba aşkım,

Senden haber almak çok güzel, uzun zamandır yapmadığım bir şekilde gülümsettin beni, babam aramızdan ayrıldığından beri evi satışa hazırlamak ve çalışmakla çok meşguldüm, bir iş biter bitmez diğeri başlıyordu. A husband is the one special man who brings
every happiness and shares every sweetness
with the woman who is fortunate enough to be his wife.
A husband is the one special soul who is the love of her life.

A husband is a desire to never be apart.
He is the answer to one of the most important questions anyone can ask;
he is whom you want to spend all of your days withh...always.
No one else is quite like him.
No one else is capable of reaching you in the same way.
There is something wonderful about him that brightens the days and makes dreams come true.
He is the one man in the world you want to walk with along life´s path.
Together, the two of you have made such beautiful memories.
Together, in the warmth of every today, you still do.
And forever, he will be the one you want to be beside as you discover everything tomorrow has in store.

A husband is your one special man, and you wish he could really understand how wonderful he is.

Because there is no one you could possibly love more

Birlikte, her yeni günün sıcaklığında yeni hatıralar oluşturuyorsunuz. Ve daima yarın dükkana gelecek yeni şeyleri keşfederken yanında olmasını istediğin kişi o olacak. (im not really sure is it right or wrong cos i coulndt get this paragraph, sorry , Together, in the warmth of every today, you still do.

And forever, he will be the one you want to be beside as you discover everything tomorrow has in store. )

Kocan senin yegane özel erkeğindir ve onun gerçekten ne kadar harikulade olduğunu anlamasını dilersin.

Çünkü muhtemelen ondan daha fazla sevebileceğin birisi yoktur.

I am recovering a little. I hope our dreams/fantasies come true and will be real.

My try

iyi olmak
1. to recover.
2. (for something) to go well, suit one´s purpose.
3. to be good, be favorable.

weird sentence "ben biraz iyi oluyorum" most probably he/she means "to get better, to feel better" by saying "iyi oluyorum"

       4.to get better

As I figured there are several reasons they use these adorable suffixes I mentioned in the title of this post.

1. You´re talking about facts =>

Example: Kapadokya adı Pers dilinde "Güzel Atlar Ülkesi" anlamına gelmektedir.

It doesn´t need to be fact all the time to use the -dir suffix ,it could be also your idea, i mean it could be something relative. (You explained something like this on 3rd topic but its different)

Example: Women are liars. Kadınlar yalancıdır

2. You want to express must be / has to be / should be in Turkish =>

    Example: Kapı çalıyor. Postacıdır.

3. If you´re speaking thing you uncertain about =>

Example: Bir tannem acaba şimdi ne yapıyordur?

Please correct me if I am wrong and add more points if there are. I would also appreciate some more sentences as examples.

Thank you so much!

Anyone please...

I sent the present in April but the post office sent it back, they said Turkey was denying packages (parcels) from here because of the “swine flu”, so I tried to send it in August! But they sent it back again. I was frustrated because I wanted you to receive it on your BIRTHDAY. And now I found out that this company was a fraud, because they didn´t have coverage in Turkey… So I claimed my money back and sent the present through another company… That’s why you have just received your present... But it goes with all my affection...I really wanted you to received it on time unfortunately all this happened.

Could someone help me to understand this please?

Hiçbirþey için "BENÝMDÝR" deme, sadece de ki; YANIMDADIR Çünkü ne altýn, ne toprak, ne sevgili, ne hayat, ne ölüm, ne huzur, ne de keder. DAÝMA SENÝNLE KALMAZ

Never say "mine" for anything , just say "it´s with me" because
neither gold, nor land, nor lover, nor life, nor death, nor peace,
nor sorrow stays forever with you.

Looks like word by word translation but thats all I can do..

Thanks PELGIDIUM.

I was wondering what words inþallah was derived from, and you have answered this.

So if I understand correctly you are saying:

in (Arabic) = þayet (Turkish) = if (ever)
sha / þae
(Arabic) = istemek, dilemek (Turkish) = to will, to wish
Ýnþallah
= Allah isterse  (if Allah wants, God willing, etc)  Big smile

YES

You can talk about the past as much as you like but the fact is you forgave me for everything and we both decided to make a fresh start. So there is no excuse for the way you have behaved. You have done some nasty and hurtful things that disgust me.

Geçmiþ hakkýnda istediðin kadar konuþabilirsin ama gerçekte sen beni herþey için affettin ve yeni bir baþlangýç yapmaya karar verdik.Bu yüzden davranýþýnýn hiçbir mazereti yok. Beni iðrendiren bazý edepsizce ve kýrýcý þeyler yaptýn.

Thanks si++, I have some questions........

I have often seen inþallah used in ´I hope ....´ translations.

I see it translates to ´God willing, if God allows, and hopefully´ amongst other meanings.

Would  the person saying this, (or the person hearing this) need to be strongly religious for the use of inþallah

I ask this, as ´God willing´ is a rarely used expression in Australia, although ´thank God´ is still frequently used, even by non-religious people.  I am aware that inþallah, and other references to Allah, are frequently used in Turkish. Also when you write Allah, should it always be with a capital A?

Thanks for your (or anybody else´s) help in answering these questions.

Hi,

For your first question "no" inþallah is not used by only strongly religious people. It´s like saying "thank God, oh my God", I mean every people use this word and that doesn´t mean they are religious. But also frequently used by religious people, thats right.

Second questions answer is ; "no" you can´t write inþallah with capital "A".That word is comming from arabic language and including 3 words in-þae-Allah, normally "A" must be used but after so many years that 3 words became 1 word inþallah. If we write it with "A" it would be like "silverSmith"

You can see the meaning of inþallah word by word below;

in : þayet : if (ever)
þae : istemek, dilemek : to will, to wish
Ýnþallah: Allah isterse.

Hope that makes everything clear

Bye

Herneyse, belki þu anda yeni biriyle berabersin yada Kazým’a geri döneceksin. Tüm bunlara raðmen sana iyi bir yaþam diliyorum, tanrý sana varlýk ve mutlu bir hayat bahþetsin.Hoþçakal.
