I want to translate this as:

By going to the doctors concerned with this form he had an exam.

But it just doesn´t sound right. What would be the correct translation?

Thank you Merih. "Related" sounds much better. It made more sense too as I was going thru the exercise - the guy was going to a different doctor for every little thing.

In the USA you have a check up with one doctor and then you see a specialist if needed.
