This request effects someones real life.  (I did a translation like this once and your attempt is better than mine was,).   But for English to Turkish,  unless you are are totally certain, I would stay with T-E requests for the time being.  I hope maybe one of the moderators might weigh in..

oh god :O mine was way off. need to get my head back into the books tonight, i think i am better at turkish to english but i wanted to give it a go knowing someone would indeed correct me.

The "Language Forum" and "Practice Turkish Form" are good places to ask questions and get feedback.   I doubt that any "book" can teach normal usage  That is why this site is so valuable.
