...here is a difficult one....

" ağzını yerim "

how would anyone translate this and how is it used. Could you give some examples how to make use of this idiomatic expression, please.

Thanks

this idiom is used when somebody says something that you like a lot... but it is kind of slang, not rude though, but you still have to be close to this person.  There is no exact translation for it, but would mean very well said...

Also It´s when someone likes what you said and want to tell you that what you said was good in a sweet and cute way

If it was "ağzına sağlık", I would agree with those posted above."Ağzını yerim" is not an idiom and its meaning may differ depending on what you are trying to say.

Senin Ağzını Yerim

Bir güneş gibi doğdun sen ufuktan ufuktan
Tereddüt etmedim teslim oldum ben çoktan ben çoktan
Sensiz geçen günlerime yanarım yanarım
Boş yere ömrümü harcamışım hiç yoktan hiç yoktan

Senin ağzını yerim ben
Bu zamana kadar nerelerdeydin sen
Kimse inkar etmesin
Güzel gördüm demesin, seni görmeden

gerçekten ben mi anlamıyorum?  Burada sevgiliyi güzel bulduğunu, veya yemek istediğini mi söylüyor?  Eğer öyleyse, ya ben Türkçe´yi unutmuşum, ya da şair yanlış kullanmış ya da sadece sevgilini konuşmasını çok beğendiğini söylüyor.

Ve eğer bu idiom değilse nedir?

Am I really missing something?  Does he mean that he finds the loved one beautiful or wants to literally eat her mouth?  If then, either I forgot how to speak Turkish, or the poet made a mistake or he simply meant he loved the way the loved one talks..

And if it is not an idiom, what is it then?
