Hi there I am wondering the translation of this and if it is an okay name for my (askim) is it a sweet term for a guy>

Yes, we can say that it is a good saying. Actually "sevimli canavar" is a form of adressing which we use for our lovers, children, and sometimes, sincere friends. Supposing that I am saying this word to my son:

"Beni kandırmaya çalışıyorsun değil mi? Seni "sevimli canavar" seni!"

"You are trying to deceive me, aren't you? Loveable monster(!) that you!"
