Hi,

My Turkish man is coming over to stay with my family and I for a week during December and has applied for a visa...

We have been told that we must write a letter of invitation for him which will contribute to obtaining his visa; We have written a letter which we will send him to give in with along with forms he has filled out....

However I am aware of how difficult it is for Turkish to get a visa to come to the UK, so I was wondering if there is anything in particular that I could include in the letter that will increase the likelihood of his acceptance for a visa.

Anything else anyone could tell me about making it easier for him to be accepted would be greatly appreciated too!!

Thanks!

I would like to know the same thing.

I know that the person applying also has to have a certain amount of money in their bank account to prove that they will be able to look after themselves whilst in the UK?
What is the actual amount?

Any more info. would be greatly appreciated

Thank you
