We have a similar situation in Scotland where many fans from all over the country support the two fashionable Glasgow teams but my team are currently joint second in the league and have won the same two European trophies as Galatasary beating Real Madrid and Hamburg in the process

First of all, Galatasaray didn't win the Championship last year .. Fener threw it away by not winning their last game.
Tonight Fener will show who is the greatest team in Turkey!! I think 2-0 will do nicely (Fener could score more but it would be a shame to REALLY embarass Galatasaray!  )

Last year FB won the both games but GS was the champion.
I remember when GS was coached by Fatih Terim FB won 4-0 in away match and 1-0 in home match but GS was still the champions like last year.

but I also support my teams for the actual sport they play though
