I would say:

believe that this house
couldn't ever get used to your absence

now your absence sits
at the place you've got up from and left

(I used "absence" instead of "being without you" because it's shorter)

I would say.....

This house will never get used to your absence

Believe is in the correct place!


Also change to....IN the place instead of at the place...
