Help: Someone sent me files last night and I couldn't open them. This is a new comp. since February, it seemed microsoft word expired July 05. I needed a 25 digit number. Do I have to buy the package or can I download it. Not very comp. literate in depth; thankyou

download this program, it is called "microsoft office word viewer 2003" and it does exactly what the name indicates. I tried it, it reads word documents like word itself.

i think you have to buy the cd.
