Microsoft Word

Help: Someone sent me files last night and I couldn't open them. This is a new comp. since February, it seemed microsoft word expired July 05. I needed a 25 digit number. Do I have to buy the package or can I download it. Not very comp. literate in depth; thankyou

Nikki,

Do you mean Microsoft Office expired? word is usually on Office disk. The code shouldn't expire???? On the other hand if you have lost the code and you are using Micosoft office let me know, I may be able to help.

download this program, it is called "microsoft office word viewer 2003" and it does exactly what the name indicates. I tried it, it reads word documents like word itself.
