Sorry if somebody already asked this question but..........

Anybody got any ideas about what I can (try) to read I live in Istanbul and I speak a little Turkish, I try to read Tintin and 'Sizinkiler' which help but I would like to try something a bit more substantial, like some short stories or low level articles. I'm seriously lacking in vocabulary. any ideas? On-line resources?
Thanks
Çok Sağol.

you can read ekşi sözlük(http://sozluk.sourtimes.org/)
they always have interesting or funny answers for anything you want(consider that it is not a dictionary)
