Merhaba,

I was wondering how to correctly say the following in Turkish:

"I'm interested in Turkey. That is why I want to learn Turkish."

turkiye ile ilgileniyorum bu yuzden turkce ogrenmek istiyorum?

turkiye ile ilgileniyorum bu yuzden turkce ogrenmek istiyorum?


to be interested in something
birşeye ilgi duymak
birşey ilgisini çekmek

birşey ile ilgilenmek can also mean "to take care of something".

So following is better:
I'm interested in Turkey.
Türkiyeye ilgi duyuyorum.
Türkiye ilgimi çekiyor.


Ben bebek ile ilgileniyorum.
I am taking care of the baby.
