merhaba!
which is the grammar rule for "instead of..."?

e.g.: Instead of chocolate, I want an apple
Instead of milk, I drink coffe
Instead of watching TV I read a book.
Instead of going on holliday I prefer staying home
Instead of meeting Ismail, Ayla preffered going to the theatre.

instead of = yerine
e.g.:

Instead of chocolate, I want an apple
- Çikolata yerine, elma istiyorum
Instead of milk, I drink coffe
- Süt yerine, kahve içerim
Instead of watching TV I read a book.
- Televizyon izlemek yerine kitap okurum.
Instead of going on holliday I prefer staying home
- Tatile gitmek yerine, evde kalmayı tercih ederim.
Instead of meeting Ismail, Ayla preffered going to the theatre.
- ismail le buluşmak yerine, Ayla tiyatroya gitmeyi tercih etti.

....what about the pronouns?

e.g. Instead of us, the teacher gave him the prize.
Instead of you, my mother likes them.
Instead of me, my father wrote him the letter.
Instead of him, I admire his sister.

e.g.
Instead of us, the teacher gave him the prize.
- Bizim yerimize, öğretmen hediyeyi ona verdi.
Instead of you, my mother likes them.
- Senin yerine, annem onları seviyor
Instead of me, my father wrote him the letter.
- Benim yerime, babam ona mektup yazdı
Instead of him, I admire his sister.
- Onun yerine, Kardeşini çok beğeniyorum.
