"Archeologists discover 'giant' city in Turkey"

There is proof now that the city, discovered in 2004 about 2kms from Sagalassos, was very large (about 120 hectare), older than Sagalassos and densely populated between 800 and 400 BC. The researchers assume that people left the city to build Sagalassos around 400 BC because of water shortage.
