I thought men go into such an argument only about whose favourite football team beats the other and will be the champ.

I was thinking exactly the same qdemir, but I was trying to get 2 pennies richer, so I posted my thoughts in another thread

I am fed up with hearing the question; hangi takımı tutuyorsunuz? (Which team do you support?) When people ask the question they don't mind saying "hangi futbol takımı" (which football team) as if only football is being played in teams and every one is supposed to have a football to support. And also when I say I don't have a favourite football team some don't believe me. Sometimes I say I support the Mehter Takımı

Aaaa ben Galatasaray tutuyorum, only because it's colors are going great with my living room walls
That's the only relation between me and..."my team"
