im sure u will... there was one point when i was actually renown on the seslisözlük website for my frustration for not being able to communicate with my turkish relatives.. and although im still not fluent... (this is where the big headed part comes in hihi) i can actually speak now and understand most things even if i cant always translate them...
the only prob now is being in england.. living in daily fear of forgettng what i have already learnt... maybe that was a bit exaggerated.. but have u actually ever been in that situation when u cant explain urself due to a language problem?? how annoying is that?? i hate it... that cant happen again.. omg.. where are my books... must study must study....

ha ha dont worry you sound like a really intelligent person so i doubt you will forget it. And i know what you mean bout the language problem my bf speaks english very well however i dont like to depend on him to speak to me in english all the time as it makes me feel lazy and ignorant, this is why i have decided to learn turkish. Although this website is excellent and really helps me alot there is nowhere in my area which teaches turkish, which is a pain as i feel i would learn alot faster this way

hehe i woudld just let him do the speaking sometimes u know... why did he learn it???

hehe... yeah.. i know what u mean about the "wrong area" thangy too.. same as me.. but considering i have a turkish father living here.. u would think that i would get free lessons.. but thats not the case.. all the turkish i have learnt is from books... and also seslisözluk forums.. the guys there have hepled me so much in regards to explaining thangs and even translating huge letters..(which i write a lot of! )
i think u should check out the seslisözlük forum u know.. i woudl recommend it to anyone learning turkish.. and even english actually...
also, the book "teach urself turkish" (ASUMAN C POLLARD) is great.. its helped me so much...
look its here..: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0844237159/103-3974608-3371037?v=glance

anyway.. take care.. and im sure ill see u around
