do women say this to men?

I just wanted to check before i make a mistake and look stupid..
öptüm - its not just men say this to women is it, women can say öptüm to men?

I do not know if it is okay but I said it several times to my exboyfriend. He then always reacted similar, he liked to hear it.

merhaba!
optum is the past tense of the verb opmek= to kiss
the form optum is a familiar one which both men and women can use
instead of seni opuyorum (I kiss you) you can say optum (kiss) whether to a girl or to a boy

ah thank you, just thought i'd check.
i nearly called a male "tatlim" once, good job i was having a look on this site and realised it was something only really said from a male to a female lol.

False. Females can say "tatlım" to males too.

I saw that it is like "Tschüss" in German, or "Bye" in English, but not for everyone. It depends on the people, so it can be both men to women, women to men. Also i have heard women to women and maybe just for fun: men to men.
