Bodrumgirl I think you need to start living in the REAL world. You say my post offended you? I made a comment on 3rd December that someone had posted a poem for translation in the Turkish Poetry forum. How on earth could this have "cause you great offence" and "embarass you"??? I did not mention any names (I didn't even notice whose poem it was) and was not rude in any way about your post, I merely pointed out it was in the wrong Forum.
YOU, however, have seen fit to enter into a personal dispute about my comments - something which you should do by PM (if you would care to one day read the Forum Rules).
There are a lot of people who care very deeply about this website and certain parts of it, ie the Turkey Forums and the Poetry Forum. And yes, now you mention it, I am sick of sentimental requests for translations appearing all over the place. However, I did not use these words, or your name, in my post. Furthermore, you refused to accept my apology when I said my comment was not personal.
For goodness sake, grow up. If you find such posts offensive and embarassing then pay more attention to where you post in future.
Glad to hear you are "moving on" from the traumatic comments I made .....

In fact I will go further, finally a truly GREAT poem has been posted here. Such depth, meaning, meter, form, rhythm ....
I remember the park
I remember the grass
I remember the time
you grabed my ass...
So wistful, remembering days when shell knocked shell, scaly foot touched scaly foot, when grass was green, when the sun shone. Perhaps it could be translated?
Any takers?
