World thoughts

one place - two different views

The moon -
It holds such purity.
It can be seen from opposite ends of the earth and give the
same effect on people's views of how it is such a beautiful site.
Those two opposite ends of the earth is what makes it an atrocity.
One person at one end is safe and warm, the other is the complete opposite.
In war and terror and fighting to stay alive.
I ask myself everyday, is it really possible for two such situations to exist in one
place? To look up at the moon, the same time as your opposite and still not realise
how lucky you truly are?

The news -
It shows us the horrific sites there are in our world. It does not hide the
fact that this world is coming to an end, it is us who is making it this way.
The human race - some people forget these two words and make them
seperate from each other. Race becomes part of the situation what make
people different from each other, as does religion, nationality and culture.
It is also the reason for hatred and War, because people put themselves
under different "races" when really we are all under one race, the human
race.
Whether we like it or not we are under one world and it is us that is
causing our world so much pain and suffering.
The word Armageddon is a word that probably best describes our world -
the final battle between the forces of good and evil. Except there will
never be a final battle because the world is constantly in one. Maybe if
the meaning was changed to "the constant battle between the forces of
good and evil".

"How can we carry on like this?" people ask, the answer is simple. We can't.
Soon our world will come to an end and it will be under the hands of the
human race.

People dream of a world where they are free to believe in what they want to
believe in. A world where they can be any nationality, any culture, any race
and follow any religon they wish, without having to worry about being judged.
But to those who do judge, I ask a simple question - why? becasue they are
different? Take a look around, who is not different? Everyone is unique, so
are you against the entire world?
The world has enough troubles without having people in it that pre-judge
others and make something of it.

There is enough food in the world to go round six times yet people are still
starving. The effects of bad weather such as tornados, hurricanes, floods,
earthquakes leave people homeless and having to fight to survive.
People are abused in many ways that leave them helpless, scared, alone
and unloved. It is also one of many reasons why so many people are
homeless.
In the same world people have loving families and homes they are kept safe and
warm in, a safe place to sleep at night, and have endless supplies of food and
water to fulfil their needs.

Is it really possible that we are in the same world, the same one place?

Unfortunately this is the modern world we live in. Or maybe it was always like that but we just didn't know. But can it be changed or by now is it too late?
