Aww congrats to you!

Although I must say that I hope my wedding will be different. I understand that it's turkish law but I simply will not go to some doctor and make a blood test on the day which is supposed to be the most romantic in my life. Plus I'm also scared of needles.

I suppose the most important thing is that you got married but still I can't believe how insensitive the turkish system is. At least now I know that we will marry in my home country.

Did anyone have the Henna treatment?? when i got back to the house mother in law brought in to the living room a dish that looked like it had a freshly scooped up cow pat , a thick brown goo with bits of fibre in it , well i just couldnt imagine just what it was i just prayed it wasnt anything to eat !
After an hour an old lady from the village gave it a stir and slapped a couple of dollops on my hand then dished out a dollop to the other women and then i realised when i saw them rubbing it into their hands it was henna.
Luckily it has faded now but it made me jump everytime i moved my hands for the first week after i saw this mark on my hands and it kept making me jump lol.

Oh yeah henna I've done it a couple of times now. One time I was sleeping with my fingers all wrapped up and when I woke in the morning I thought my bed was covered in blood
I actually like having it on, because somehow (don't ask me why) when you're in a tourist city people don't judge you when they see you have henna on your hands.
