My friend and I will be visiting Istanbul between March and April.
Could someone tell me where the best location is, for booking hotels. Something central and near the sea.

hotel aquarium is near sultan ahmet.i stayed when i am there.its 25 euro a night.if u want cheaper try the dorms which goes at 15YTL.

there is swiss hotel in besiktas and very close to taksim square its a five star hotel and very good one actually.
