Hi,
I would like to say first of all where I would be able to post this topic which section of the forum is most suited please moderators excuse me if it is in the wrong section.

I am going to Turkey to live in 2007 in Istanbul to be with my girlfriend but wanted to ask an important question that may or may not have been posted before. If your partner is Turkish for example and was leaving Turkey to move to United Kingdom what perils and problems would she/he face? I have talked in great depth to my relative about this and he said it is practically a hard task to get your partner into the U.K. I have noticed also that the prices of visas and passport are much higher in Turkey for someone travelling to U.K. Why is this why so much expense to come here I am searching for people who have Turkish partners who want them to come for a holiday or to live in the United Kingdom and the problems they encountered
Thanks Loveprague
