Terrorism has only effected me by means of watching the aftermath on the tv,ive had no direct link with the actual events and although it touches me whilst im watching it , i move on but now maybe because im getting older that when i travel to london, get on the underground, hanging around airports and whilst actually on the plane and also when i visited Istanbul it was always on my mind "am i going to be in the wrong place at the wrong time?"
it no way stops me from doing what i want or going to where i want to go but in the above mentioned places i get a sense of uneasiness knowing that i am in or on something that has been attacked in the past.
I strongly believe in fate when you times up its up but does anyone else think like i do?
my feelings are a bit contradicitve , im not scared but just have this underlying sense if uneasiness
Kind Regards
Jackie

no i dont worry about such events.if something like that happens then there isnt much you can do about it..like if someone shouts bomb and everyone runs u might run in the wrong direction theres more chance of being hit by a car..try not to feel too uneasy

I don't think it's healthy to be preoccupied with the risk of terror. As Robyn says, the risk is minimal and if it happens you can't do anything about it but hope that it won't happen. The security in airports is crazy at the moment, you can't even bring a bottle of water because it may be chemicals to make a bomb If the terrorists really want to hurt people, it's not easy to stop them, but one should, of course, always keep the eyes open for suspecious looking people.
Concerning the risk of terrorism in Turkey, I'm not worried at all because again, the risk is very small. Once in Hakkari I woke up in the middle of the night because I heard a loud sound and it turns out it was a shop nearby that was bombed. Nobody really reacted to it, so I didn't either.

Violence happens everyday, every hour and probably every second around our world. It's quite disturbing that we've become so used to it. So I completely understand your response.
But I agree with all the others. You can't live your life being afraid that you're going to be the next victim of such acts of brutality.

It's not normal, but it's not exactly uncommon is it? Unfortunatly
I mean, like capoeira said violence etc happens all the time, and unfotunatly terrorism is getting a big part that. So although we all want it to stop, I doubt it ever will
