What are your favorite books?

Mine are :
1 - "The Tunnel " "El Túnel" in spanish ( By Ernesto Sábato ) A masterpiece!!!! which tells the story of one obssesive painter
A MUST-READ! (in fact I have read it 3 times but I can never get enough of it!)
2- "The foreigner" By Albert Camus
(another masterpiece!!)
3 "Virgins of Paradise" (By Barbara Wood ) One story of egyptian women (You cannot stop reading !)
4 "The Alchemist " by Paulo Coelho (will make you think)
5 "100 years of Loneliness " by Gabriel GarcÃa Márquez (a genious!!)
I would like to hear of yours or to receive recommendations because I will have long summer holidays!

I highly recommend you "Steppenwolf" by Hermann Hesse and "Essays in Love" by Alain de Botton.
