Not only pronounced, but used as well. Several times when someone corrects someone's pronounciation of a word or grammar, I've heard an answer along the lines of "E ne yapalim, hepimiz Zeki Müren olamayız ki!" (Eh, whatcha gonna do, we can't all be Zeki Müren!)
By the way, there is a two-CD set of Zeki Müren's early recordings (pure classical style) by Kalan Music (www.kalan.com). His performance is truly beautiful, and it was in those recordings that I really came to appreciate him.
