To step out of the cold and beery light
into a coked-up Flemish painter's eye:
cobble stone oil bursts sunsets, bright fish backs
crunch scales on oranges glistening in their racks,
light bulb genitals storm the raucous night
and bloody sheeps' heads gape you lurching by.
