Merhaba

Forum, somebody can tell me what mean the suffix "eye" or maybe is "ye", in example:

Sevmeye
öğrenmeye
sabretmeye

Teşekkurler

Hello Mavy. Actually the suffix in this case is -e; but the y is a buffer letter because the word finishes with vowel, and in turkish there aren't vowels together (but there are exceptions too).
The words that you list are verbal nouns + dative case.

I think the member named "karakartal" listened same song from MFO, but he/she tought the suffix is meye... hahahahaha!!
