My TURK GRAMMAR BOOK SAYS:
BILMEM= I DON'T KNOW
OR
BILMEM= I KNOWing NOT
and for example, gelme= coming or don't come, that in writing there is no distinction.
Are they used when the difference doesn't matter.

there is difference in pronounciation-
gelme- coming, arrival- the strees is at the last syllable ("me")
gelme- don't come- the stress is at the beginning ("gel")
what does:
"I KNOWing NOT" mean in English??

"gelme" is the noun form of "gelmek" like "coming" is noun form of "to come"
"gelme" is the negative form of "gel" like "don't come" is the negative form of "come!"
we remove -k letter from the verb to make it noun. gelmek --> gelme
we remove -mek, -mak to order someone or to use the verb in a sentence, and we add -me, -ma to make it negative. Gel! --> Gel-me !
