mmmm a whole thread ruined by people moaning about people's english language skills..this is TURKISH language class and noone is being assessed by examiners in here in regards to their command of english language.
i understand that slang can be annoying for some members and that some members might not understand but to turn every post into a dispute about slang..come on im sure we've all got better things to do.

We were having fun with the slang! Nobody was complaining and in fact the thread was going along quite nicely with the never ending joke.
As 4 betta thangs to due...hmmm...please tell me you're not complaining about us spoiling threads or making ridiculous posts! Would be a bit like the pot calling the kettle black...no?!?!?

but you couldnt fulfil this courtesy yourself.it seems that you have double standards dear aenigma and see fit to make fun and ridicule others yourself, including sarcasm in the majority of your posts and yet when you receive this in return you don't like it.
i accept that i am sarcastic but acidic is certainly not something i or anyone i know would ever use to describe me.

You can blame me for starting it, if you already haven't, but in this instance I was pointing out the use of the wrong word, "rite" as opposed to "right" or is "rite" used as slang? As I dont have a degree in slang I wouldn't know
