Hi all,

I wanted to point out a resource for studying Turkish that I haven't seen mentioned here. Forgive me if it has already been discussed.

At http://fsi-language-courses.com/ you can download the FSI Turkish course and its accompanying audio. They're in the public domain, so it's completely legal. The course was produced in the 1960s, and the audio quality is pretty muffled in the first several lessons. Around lesson 10 is clears up.

Some find the "drill and kill" style of FSI courses (or DLI courses) to be boring and dry, but I think they are extremely valuable when used in conjunction with other materials.
