The true extent of England's apparent dislike for Muslims became apparent when not only were 2 of the 9 suspects released WITHOUT charge (which i'm not complaining about!) revealed that they were never even questioned or told what they were being held for!
I think that is disgusting and just shows that that obviously this 'terrorist' raid was a pathetic farce, i knowe its not related to turkey but i had to get that off my chest..its ridiculous and i actually agree that Britain is becominga police state for Muslims, how many non-Muslism ahve been arrested during these 'terrorist' raids..terrorists come from all backgrounds for crying out loud..
anyways sorry again for ranting.

Actually it is not stricty true Robyn, see the news today. I don't care what religion or race people are, but this is a very worrying extremist action and these people are supposed to be our fellow countrymen.
It is a very small faction of extreme Muslims, so why do the rest of the Muslim society in the UK get so offended? Surely they should be pleased that these extremists are being weedled out of society, I know the one's (Muslims) close to me are.

So are you saying then the 5 that have been charged today are different men from the original 9 that were questioned?

thanks for the link libralady but i couldn't open it:-S ui'll ahve alook on yahoo news though so thanks for the information..my problem wasn't that they arrested muslims.its that some of the 9 men were not even questioned about the alleged planning of this 'kidnapping plot/terrorism' or even told why they were there..
of course there are terrorists from most backgrounds but in the stop and search policies the only people i have ever witnessed being searched are muslims, not only is that unfair and against the rules of stop and search(until you read certain parts of the terrorist act-but again who said that all terrorst were muslim anyway!)
anyway, thank you again for this extra information, i only hope that these men have actually been told what they have been charged with and why as that was my major problem with this event.
