Scenario.

A foreign women writes a letter about her family news, (birth of child, etc) to a Turkish friend in Istanbul that is married to a local imam. The foreign women mentions that her husband is learning Turkish. Should she include her husbands name if the Turkish women has never met him? My guess is NOT. She should just call him: Es,im kocayim. Which better.

Teşekküler.

Could you explain what makes you think so?

Just be cautious and not wanting to exceed the parameters of a typical interaction of that type.

Yes, you can just mention him as "eşim, kocam" unless she need to know his name or you can say "eşim xnamex"
