I'm confused about the basic stuff I learnt, seems I have forgotten how it works..
Suppose a friend is leaving from your place and says "görüşÃ¼rüz", can you reply with "güle güle" then? Or is the reply here "görüşÃ¼rüz" as well? Because I remember something like "güle güle" only being used as a reply to "hoşÃ§a kal"..
And if that friend is leaving now, but you know you will see him again the next day, is "güle güle" OK for saying "bye"? Or does it imply that the other person will be away for a longer time, like a trip or a holiday?

You can say HOŞÃ‡AKAL if you are the person leaving.
You can say GÜLE GÜLE if you are the person being left, I mean if you are staying where you are.
Those usually look as the reply for each other.
This is not correct. I mean there is no such strict rule.
You don't need any of them, even though you have received one of them.
You can reply whatever you want.
You can reply HoşÃ§akal with görüşÃ¼rüz.
You can reply Güle güle with görüşÃ¼rüz.
You can reply görüşÃ¼rüz with appropriate one of HoşÃ§akal and Güle güle.
GörüşÃ¼rüz has secret meaning. One day or once again.
It maybe 1 hour or 100 day or 100 years.
If you don't say yarın, 1 saat sonra, akşamüstü, gelecek sene etc, and if it is not clear your earlier talk, it just means a goodbye.
Usually it is expected that you see them after some time. But it is not a necessity.
I know many relationships finished with görüşÃ¼rüz.
I mean people didn't see each other after that time.
