It's getting less and less cheap every year because the turism sector think they can get away with ripping people off. The prices are very unrealistic in some tourist cities and it's affecting ordinary turks living there as well.

Yes that's right! If your cost of living is high, like in the UK, Netherlands etc Turkey for us is cheap. It has nothing to do with being rich as in our countries we are not rich, just normal working people earning a reasonable living.

Really azade? I dıdnt know that! what a pıty ıt ıs lıke that but well the tourısm sector ıs very powerful ın Turkey ... I would lıke to fınd out whıch % of Turkey's ıncome comes from thıs area!! ? does anyone know?
