"Mumfitt delirmiş olmalı!( more humoristic)"
Bu sabah, EVCİL HAYVAN OLARAK kuyup ayısı istedi, çünkü kutup ayıları kaçamazlar."
= as a pet
kutup ayı+sı = noun complement /sı = suffix for singular complement.

kutup ayı+ları = noun complement/ ları= suffix for plural complements.

Bu sabah= it's in the past so we use "istedi" instead of istiyor.

When I wrote it, it was present tense

When I wrote it, it was present tense

so you can use "şimdi " or you dont need to use it.
When you use "bu sabah" in this sentence, I understand that it's in the past because you are reporting that situation,
but if you express especially that morning not the others you can use it:
Bu sabah çok güzel şarkı söylüyor.
( she doesn't sing well but this morning she's different)
