Spelling problems

Yeni bir üyeyim, bu birincim mesaj. Ãki yýl önce Türkçe öðrenmeyi baþladým. ama çok sorularým var. Keþke bu forum sorularýma cevap verebilecekse.
Well , I will continue in English now, as it took me almost 10 minutes to write those 3 lines…I will be more than glad if the admin or any other native Turkish speaking member corrects my Turkish in this and my future messages.
Well my first looong standing problem is that I cannot figure out the exact pronounciation of the Turkish letter ý the undotted I that is. The reason is that native Turks sometimes spell it like an e, sometimes like an i (dotted) and more often like an ou.
Lets me give you some examples:
caným : (my dear) I heard many people spelling it like ou. (janoum)
hadi bakalým (come on, let’s see) :here again it is an ou.
Haným: again it is an ou
The problem starts when you hear how the same letter sounds more like an I (dotted) in words like
nasýlsýnýz
yapýyorum
adýnýz ne?
My confusion grows up greater when in some words this letter is not spelled at all! For example
karþýlaþmasý .People spell this as karsh-lash-ma-su
Can someone explain this? I mean is the spelling of this letter really variable?? I believe the correct pronounciation for this letter is as the speaker spells kahvaltý in one of the pronounciation classes of this site, i.e something between I and e.
I have some more questions "ama yavaþ-yavaþ". Later on.

"karşılaşması" should be pronounced as it is written. "kar şı laş ma sı" is how we gererate the sounds. You can listen there to "karşılaşma" as well. Also you might want to have a look on this:

Unfortunately, not all of these words have a pronounciation example......but enough do to make it useful. Thanks erdinc

It SHOULD but the question is, do native Turkish speakers do it as it "should"?? I mean you can even find examples in this very forum.In the pronounciation section there is an MP3 file (I think the title is istasyonda) where the speaker says Allasmarladýk instead of Allahaýsmarladýk.
Dont get me wrong I simply try to distinguish the myths from reality.

I have troubles listening to the examples. I searched for a word and as soon as i clicked 'dinle', this came up:
"Please login to use extra features
If you do not have an account please join our community now"
Which is rather strange, because i have an account and i was logged in (what is past time of 'login' my native english friends?)
Or is there also some sort of 'upgraded account'?

You're right tabard, but in fact the pronounciation of ı doesn't change from word to word. It may sound different when people use them in their daily life, because when you speak faster, the sounds can change.
and sometimes you don't pronounce some parts of the word like in "Allasmarladık" when you speak fast.
same for "karşılaşması", when you speak fast, you may swallow ı and don't pronounce it and it becomes "karşlaşması". But this doesn't mean that you have to say them like that, it's just what people sometimes prefer to do.
