Turkey is facing a tense period. Political confusion, coupled with economic hardship, sometimes put so much pressure on one's shoulders that it is easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. Tempo magazine just wanted to show why so many love this country that has so much to love. Fifty reasons is hardly enough to do justice to a country like Turkey but at least it will make some wake up from the daily hustles and remember how they fell in love the first time.

Just take a look at the beautiful Bosporus flowing through the biggest city in the country. Many dedicated songs, poems, books and even encyclopedias to its beauty. Without it, there could have been no Istanbul.

What about the people of this wonderful country of ours? Hospitable, curious, hungry for knowledge. Tight families and friendships are the main force that keeps the country together.
