she means why do they dance zeybek?is it done anywhere on to celebrate an event?

actually no...in Turkish history, there were hectors like that...so the people dancing there are trying to perpetuate this custom...and if you look in their eyes(the people dancing) you will see how they feel while dancing...it is an honour for them

I'm curious to know more about which dances come from the different regions. We have specific dances in the far south east but I don't know which variations there are in other regions.
