Başka:
1. different
2. peculiarly
3. also, apart from, in addition

"Diğer" and "öteki" are synonymous.

But "öteki" has a second meaning. That is "farther"


Başka:
1. Bilinenden ayrı, değişik, farklı
2. Nitelik yönünden alışılmışın dışında bir üstünlüğü olan
3. Ayrıca, üstelik, bir yana

"Diğer" ve "öteki" eşanlamlıdır.

Fakat "öteki" ikinci bir anlama daha sahiptir. O da "daha uzak"'tır.

diğer=other.
Diğer yerleri de gezmek istiyorum.
İ want to visit other places too.

başka birşey istemisin ?
Do you want anything other.

farklı=different
Farklılar. They are different. (They do not look like same.)

Farklı yerler gezmek istiyorum.
İ want to visit different places.

öteki=the other one
Bunu istemiyorum.Ötekini istiyorum.
(n is linking constonant here öteki ötekini)
İ do not want this.İ want the other one.
