YAŞAYAN ÖLÃœ

Bir ölü gelecek evine yarın
Gözlerinde yarım kalmış arzular
Dalıp hayaline hatıraların
Duracak kapıda sabaha kadar
Duyunca kapının çaldığını
Korkulu gözlerle dışarı bakma
Bütün odaların yak ışığını
Bir benim kaldığım odayı yakma.
Siyahlar giyin de pencereye çık
Aç kapıyı korkma yabancı değil
Bir ölü ki yaşıyor, gözleri açık
Ölüm seni sevmekten acı değil
Aradı bu ölu hayatı sende
Öldü artık, sevsen de sevmesen de

Ãœmit Yaşar Oğuzcan

Tomorrow a Living Dead will come to your house
His/her eyes are half-open of wishes
Drowned in your dreams
He/she will stay at the door till the morning comes
If you hear a knocking at the door
Don't look out with the fearful eyes
Alight your entire room with your own light
It's only me in this room, don't burn it.
Dressed in black, go to the window
Open the door; don't be afraid, this is not a stranger
A dead person who is alive, his/her eyes are open
Dying in your love is not bitter
The life of this dead passes to you
You like it or not; he/she is dead now.
