I have noticed that sometimes in written Turkish, the space before the interrogative particle is omitted. Is this correct grammar or just 'shorthand'? Does it change the meaning in any way?

For example:
Daha kahve ister misiniz?
Daha kahve istermisiniz?

First one is correct, interrogative particle must be seperated from the word. The meaning doesn't change but second one is wrong in grammar.
