Here are the next batch of my attempts at translating the phrases from this excercise:

11 - Ben televizyon izliyorum.
"I am watching television."

12 - Televizyona bakmaktan gözlerim ağrıdı.
Really struggling with this one!!!
The best I can come up with is:
"It hurts to wait to watch television."

13 - Yağmur yağıyor. Yağmuru seviyorum.
"It's raining. I like the rain."

14 - Yemek yemeye gidiyorum.
"I am going (to a place) to eat food."

15 - Londra buluşmasına geliyor musun?
"Do you want to meet me in London?"

16 - Bu süt çok lezzetli. Bu sütü nereden aldın?
"This milk is very tasty. Where can I buy some?"

17 - Ben basketbol oynuyorum. Basketbolu seviyorum.
"I am playing basketball. I like basketball."

18 - Marketten domates ve patates aldım.
"You buy tomatoes and potatoes from the grocers."

19 - Çocuklar futbol oynuyorlar.
"Children are playing football."

20 - Futbol oynayan çocukları seyrediyorum.
"I am watching children play football."

The last one took ages as the dictionary couldn't find seyretmek from the present continuous tense seyrediyorum!!!

hehe I think you'd better forget about this sentence or you'll get complexed.

Anyway it means: My eyes have hurt or ached because of looking at the television. (not sure about the english correctness) but here -tan is because of.

Ah!
I was thinking -tan was the ablative suffix and was used to mean 'coming from' something like:
ağaçtan

Is it just implied that it is the eyes that hurt and not a general pain or ache???

"My eyes hurt because of looking at the television" would be better English. But we are more likely to say "watching television has made my eyes hurt." HTH
