Quoting kestrel:
Askim, the ticket said 'no changes' but now they are saying they will let me for $400. Did you think I would not come when you picked the date before? I don't know how far away I can make the date for but no matter. I must know absolutely for sure whether or not to change it. Soon. Please email and tell me what to do so I don't make mistake. |
Aşkım, bilette 'değişiklik yapılamaz' yazıyor ama şimdi $400'a olur diyorlar. Sen tarihi belirlemeden gelmemeli miydim sence? Tarihi ne kadar ileri alabilirim bilemiyorum. Değiştirip değiştiremeyeceğimden kesinlikle emin olmalıyım. Çok geçmeden. Lütfen bana ne yapacağım hakkında e-mail gönder ki hata yapmayayım.

3 words of this, I don't understand the construct of, if someone can help
1. yapilamaz - the 'amaz' part
2. diyorlar - what makes up this word?
3. alabilirim - this one also? the prefixes always throw me off

1. yapılamaz = yapıl + a + maz
yapıl is the verb stem from the verb yapılmak
a signifies ability/can
maz is 3rd person singular negative form of the aorist (wide tense)
yapılamaz = it can't be done
2. diyorlar = diyor + lar
diyor is the verb stem from the verb demek
lar signifies plural/them
diyorlar = they say
3. alabilirim = al + abil + irim
al is the verb stem from the verb almak
abil signifies ability/can
irim is the 1st person singular for of the aorist tense
alabilirim = i can get/buy/take
but here it is used with ileri almak = to move something forward
Tarihi ne kadar ileri alabilirim bilemiyorum =
i can't know how much i can move the date forward

2. diyorlar - what makes up this word?
3. alabilirim - this one also? the prefixes always throw me off |
1. yapılamaz - cannot to be done
2. diyorlar(de+(i)yor+lar) - they say
3. alabilirim - I can take
But 3rd word is not only "alabilirim". It is "ileri al(mak)", that is "move the time forward", something like that. Because, what I understand in this article is the date of the ticket is changing to a future time.
If something wrong in the article please inform me to adjust my translation.
