could anyone help me with this pls? i will be very thankful..

First part:

The thing I like most about being a stewardess, is that it broadens a person's horizons. You get to know people from all over the world and their cultures. What they eat and drink. How they react. If there is something named a people agent (or: exchanger?) being a stewardess makes you gain that skill. A few words from the person in front of you are enough, you understand and figure out what kind of a person he is. Also of course, when you work as a stewardess, you're not only in charge for the cabin. You become also a barmaid, an actress, a dressmaker, an athlete and everything. An abundant profession. Tiring but very exciting.

second part:

When my grandmother was going to visit the sacred places, because she felt ill around Thursday, we struggled because of her illness for almost a week with emergency rooms, she had a heart condition, because her heart has grown bigger the doctors couldn't do anything, and because her age was 86 they couldn't even do a bypass, we couldn't save her. On Sunday around 3 she passed away. She was going to the visit with my mother, when my mother went alone because of her illness and because we didn't have our adults here, my brothers and I had to deal with the funeral and the burial. Because of these events I couldn't pull myself together for the last two weeks... I'm sorry, I couldn't write to you...
