Turkish to English help pls!!

Hi all...I received a message from a friend in Turkey. He says:
..."Bu ne kız , gözlerime inanamıyorum. bu kadar kısa surede bu turkceyı ogrenmek delılık !!!"
I understand most of it (after consulting my Turkish-English dictionary) but I'm not sure I get the exact meaning of "delilik" in this sentence. Is he saying it's crazy of me to learn Turkish?? I don't want to reply until I'm sure exactly what he means!!

I hope a native speaker might help.
delilik is crazy or crazyiness.
He might be saying that trying to learn Turkish in such a short time is crazy.

what's this girl, i can't believe my eyes. it is madness to learn turkish this much in a short period of time !!!
delilik would mean:
*madness, insanity
*foolish behavior, foolishness

'Bu ne kiz?' means like 'oh girl,whats that?' (to be stupefied or to be shocked)
