Unfortunately, at this point my Turkish language skills are almost non-existent, so i can't understand the replies written in Turkish. Can anyone help me out? Especially, what is the concern with the Redhouse dictionary? I really need to a dictionary off the net in a few days and need to know which one to get. Thanks.

sht99 said that Redhouse Dictionary wasn't enough if it was used in a particular subject. If u were a begginer it could be ok but if u wanted to use it for academical purposes it wasn't enough.
Duskahvesi said that in his opinion Redhouse was good, it had a 1000 pages so it wasn't small dictionary as it was only turkish-english (not turkish english, english-turkish-which version wouldn't contain so many words-in this meaning)and he recommeds this dictionary.

I know monkban that u asked about turkish english distionary, but I think it's a good oppotunity to mention Baskakov's turkish-russian dictionary. I know russian language is a problem for most of turkish learners, but this dictionary is really good, so I recommend it to russian speaking users
