I was just wondering if anyone can recommend any books WRITTEN in Turkish? A children's book for example? I was at my local library and they have plenty of books written in turkish but the text was daunting!

I'm trying to immerse myself in the language as much as I can!

And isn't there at your local library a special childrens department? At mine is (but I guess Rotterdam is a bit too far.... )

Yes I've read through the ones on this site. I didn't see any childrens books in my library...just plenty of adult fiction but it was far too advanced for me!

I browsed through the online catalogue of my library and I found some (there are many more but copying is not so easy). These titles are for children up to 9 years. Maybe you can search online or ask at your local bookstore?
