Ottoman and Osman

hello , i would like to know the different between Ottoman and the Osman, is that the same ? Turkey is from Ottoman or Osman, i am so confused, thank you for your reply!

It is the same - the difference in written comes from specyfic of arabic letter used in the name of the first Ottoman sultan - Osman ( remember that in Ottoman times arabic was used as a language of science and rieligion whilst Persian - Farsça- was used as the language of literature and poetry; then this two languages mixed with old Turkish making a language called Osmanlıca - those all three languages used arabic alphabet). This letter sometimes was spelled as "s" but sometime like english "th" which seems similar to "t" - that's why Ottoman. Turkish use Osman, the western scince, especially english uses Ottoman.ı

Thank you very much, i am clear now. At first i just know that is Osman, but finally, i saw one Resturant in guangzhou china, "Ottoman" so i confused, at that time , i guessed maybe they are wrong, and then i saw the two one the other place, thank you very much again!
