i am going turkey with my daughter for 1 week in june do i need a visa or anything?????

if you are from the u.k., then yes you need a visa. you can easily get one upon arrival in the airport in turkey.

i didnt know that i have to get one im from uk how much will it cost and there wont be a problem me leaving england without a visa right????? is it where they just stamp something in your passport??????

i think it is about £10. make sure you have the correct amount. i don't think they give change.

if you are going into ataturk airport in istanbul, there is a ticket booth right next immigration. you purchase the visas there.

the visa looks a sticker that they just stick in your passport.

when i went to turkey, i didn't pre-purchase my visa here at home. i got the visa when i arrived at the airport in istanbul.

When I went to Istanbul last January, I was told to give the person at the Visa booth an American 20 dollar bill. Perhaps I gave a big "tip"?

for u.s. citizens it is US$20 or eur 15.

here is a price list of how much each nationality that requires a visa to get into turkey will have to pay, and which monetary denominations they can pay in:
