I am having a hard time understanding this. I think Konusmayali comes from Konusmak (talk, speak, contact) but the -ya and -li lost me.

Uzun zaman is like long time and is oldu = ok?

So I will interpret this as "long time no see" to use a very common conversational phrase in english.

Is this correct?

i think it means something like
its been a long time since we last spoke

oldu, here i think means= it was
