I read this in the newspaper today... Old president of Finland, Marti Ahtisaari, told this joke yesterday in Vienna, in the presentation of the Turkey report by the Independent Turkey Comission:

EU asks the first candidate:
- When was the first nuclear bomb dropped?
- In 1945.
- Correct, you are acepted. Please come in.
Then, EU asks the second candidate:
- Where was the first nuclear bomb dropped?
- In Hiroshima.
- Correct, you are admitted as well. You can come in.
Then, it's Turkey's turn. EU asks Turkey:
- How many people died in the nuclear bomb attack on Hiroshima and please list the names of the people who died, in alphabetical order.

Ouch. To quote an infamous American politician, "I feel your pain."
